Nursing in Comfort and Style
First off let's kick things off by discussing comfort, breastfeeding is often spent with many hours sitting in one position sometimes even in the wee hour of the night and it is important for both mom and baby to be comfortable which calls for a good breastfeeding pillow. With my first, teen C, I was told just a regular old pillow would do the trick and while it does work nothing compares to the comfort of a pillow made just for nursing. With L I had a Jolly Jumper babysitter (boppy knockoff) and although at first I loved it I now loathe that pillow. It is actually pretty hard compared to most other nursing pillows on the market. It's also too small once your little one is no longer a newborn. This time around I am happily using my LittleStar Boutique nursing pillow.
Some things I am loving about this pillow are;
- size- it is a generous size that could definitely take you into the extended breastfeeding years if you choose too.
- comfort- besides being large this pillow is also plush and soft, I'm sure with use over time it will get even softer.
- fabric choices- there are 13 gorgeous designer fabric options. I have the Olive Ancanthus which looks stunning on my white couch. I used to have to hide my breastfeeding pillow because it was so ugly but this one is so beautiful that it even fits in with my decor.

- longevity/ flexibility- one size fits all, makes a fantastic tummy time aid and can be used to help baby sit up.
Each pillow comes with a lavender sachet which is great for putting in your dresser or babies to lightly scent your clothes, or even keeping in your diaper bag. I gave my sachet to my sister because I am allergic to lavender though. The pillows are filled with hypoallergenic polyester. The covers come off for easy washing and the pillow itself is also machine washable.
